Anja L\u00fcckenkemper<\/em> is an independent curator, researcher, and writer based in Berlin, Germany. Her practice focuses on an analysis of the present in its historical and global embedding, with a special interest in the construction of knowledge and knowledge production. She is currently pursuing a practice-based curatorial PhD research titled \u201eBotanic Fictions:\u00a0On the Political Narratives of Plants\u201c at the Zurich University of the Arts (CH) and the University of Reading (GB) on critical ecologies, decoloniality, and questions of ongoing extractivism. Anja is co-initiator and curator of GOSSIP GOSSIP GOSSIP, a platform for performative events and exhibitions in Berlin’s urban space \u2013 with a programme focussing on the productive potentials of \u201a<\/span>gossip<\/span><\/i>\u2018 as a queer-feminist strategy of resistance, solidarity, and knowledge production. She has worked internationally in institutional as well as non-institutional contexts, in 2016\/17 she was artistic director at Kunstverein G\u00f6ttingen and she has curated projects and exhibitions for art institutions such as KW Institut for Contemporary Art Berlin (DE), Artspace Tel-Aviv (IL), daad Gallery Berlin (DE), Goethe-Institut Athen (GR), and Kunsthalle Osnabr\u00fcck (DE) and others. She continues to publish and write for artist publications and exhibition catalogues on contemporary art.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
