Larisa Crun\u021beanu\u00a0<\/em>works as a performer, video artist and sound collector who moves from reality to fiction in an endless conversation with the viewer. Larisa Crun\u021beanu\u2019s works create contexts in which facts and memories are reactivated, encouraging a shared effort and the emergence of new practices. Many of her projects reflect on the notion of collaboration and the ideas existing behind objects and stories. Her works were shown in important institutions such as the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest, SAVVY Berlin, Zacheta Project RoomWarsaw, RKI Berlin, Museu de Arte Brasileira \u2013 MAB FAAP, S\u00e3o Paulo. She holds an MA in Photography and Moving Image and a PhD in Visual Arts from the National University of Arts Bucharest. In 2023 she launched her first book, Protocols of Singularity (RO- EN) published by Dispozitiv Books.<\/p>\n Nevena \u0160krbi\u0107 Alempijevi\u0107, PhD<\/em>\u00a0is a full professor at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She received her PhD in 2006 on the topic of traditional carnival practices. Besides Zagreb, she also taught in Rijeka, Zadar, Ljubljana, Koper, Bergen, Kristiansand, Malm\u00f6, Lund and Chicago. Her areas of research interest are: urban ethnology, city and art, performance research, studies of carnivals, contemporary festivals and other public events, anthropology of place and space, construction of cultural regions, Mediterranean studies and anthropology of social memory. She is the co-author of three scientific books. She is the co-editor of six editorial books and anthologies, independently or in co-authorship she has published over forty scientific papers in international and domestic journals and anthologies. She presented the results of her research at around fifty domestic and international scientific meetings. Together with the Croatian artist Nikolina Kne\u017eevi\u0107 Hrgovi\u0107, she will conduct a workshop with students of the Academy of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n In her talk with Nevena \u0160krbi\u0107 Alempijevi\u0107 from The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Larisa, as a long term researcher into social bodies and their emotional maladies,\u00a0 will delve into a couple of her projects that deal with the way love and stories of love create, hold and even destroy collective spaces throughout the history.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_code _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n
